Fundraisers: Car Wash

So... If a garage sale wasn't quite the thing for you let's talk about a car wash! Who doesn't love a car wash? It's fun in the sun. If it's a warm day anyway!

The main ideas of all our fundraising ideas are the same. First, get a group of kids and teen counselors who need to earn some money for camp. Second, get an adult to help organize. Three, get busy!

So car wash here we come!

1) Ask your parents, children's pastor/director or pastor or even a teen counselor to help organize.

2) Pick a date. Then decide where to have it. Will it be at your church, at a restaurant, a neighborhood pool?

3) Collect items you need for a car wash. Buckets, garden hoses, a powerwasher if available, soap, soft brushes, rags, shammies, paper towels, window cleaner.

4) Make signs to help people find your car wash.

5) Remember to dress modest. You are reflecting Jesus! Avoid swimwear and keep those shorts at a longer length.

6) We've found it best to take donations instead of setting a price.

Pick a warm, sunny day and get wet!
